Regional & National Ministry

There is more than one style of doing good young adult outreach. Besides parish, diocesan, and ministry in religious orders, there are alternative ways to reach out and minister to adults in their 20s and 30s.

Cluster/Multi-Parish Ministry


In areas where several parishes have young adult ministries (but their diocese does not), or in large dioceses looking to network several parishes in a geographical area, the cluster or multi-parish ministry model is very effective.

Regional/Multi-Diocesan Ministry


In a geographic area of the country, several dioceses can also work together on events, programs, or leadership development in young adult ministry. Some of these networks are aligned with the Episcopal Regions of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops.

National Young Adult Ministry


Some young adult ministry organizations choose to broaden their appeal on a national level, especially when their ministry is focused on a certain program or appeal (and can be especially effective using the Internet, since cyberspace is not limited to geography).
