Welcome to NCYAMA

What is NCYAMA all about?

NCYAMA's mission is to drive excellence and growth in the ministry to and evangelization of young adults in their late teens, twenties, and thirties, married and single, in the Catholic Church.  We help parishes and dioceses create a bridge from an adolescent appreciation of the Church to a fully-integrated adult experience of faith.

   

 

Who do we serve?

NCYAMA is an organization for those who minister to Generation X and the Millennial Generation, including:

• Young Adult Ministers (both on the parish or diocesan level)
• Bishops, Auxiliary Bishops, Pastors, and Parish Administrators
• Pastoral Associates and Adult Faith Formation Directors and Teams (including those who are working with young adults in the sacramental preparation of Marriage, Baptism, and RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
• College Campus Ministers and University Chaplains
• Directors of Youth Ministry (and Youth & Young Adult Ministry)
• Evangelization and Outreach Teams and Coordinators
• Vocation Directors, Teams, and Coordinators
• Family Life Directors, Teams, and Coordinators

 

How can NCYAMA help you?

NCYAMA does this by developing and delivering resources, providing ministry training, and networking those who minister to and work with young adults in parishes, dioceses, and Catholic organizations across the country.

On a national level, NCYAMA also helps you by advocating to leaders of the Catholic Church in the United States for the full integration of young adults in the life of the Catholic faith community and for the development, expansion, and professional growth of Young Adult Ministry in parishes and in dioceses.
