NCYAMA is looking to find out what young adult Catholics are looking for in their in their lives, in their faith, and in the Catholic Church.
We are currently seeking funding to launch a multi-faceted investigative inquiry and research projects into the thoughts and opinions of men and women in their late teens, 20s and 30s - active and inactive Catholics alike - so that we can best serve this incredible population.
This information will be invaluable to NCYAMA and our partners in how best to address their needs, respond to their concerns, and be present for them in good times and bad.
It will also give the Church insight into their absense - and possible routes to decreasing the phenomenon of emptying pews. By actively LISTENING to the words and experiences of young adults today (instead of just TALKING to them), there is a great hope that much ground can be covered in understanding how best to connect them to God, the Church, the mission of the Church, and a supportive and caring community of Catholic peers.
