National Young Adult Ministry Leadership Forum

Wednesday, December 8-Thursday, Decmber 9, 2010
New Orleans Convention Center - New Orleans, Louisiana

Building Pathways to Ministry & Leadership

The biennial NCYAMA Leadership Forum was held December 8-9, 2010, at the New Orleans Convention Center in the heart of the Crescent City. Participants (pictured above) engaged in great discussions on how to move young adults in their 20s & 30s from "spectators" to "participants" to "leaders" in the Catholic Church.

The program began with a keynote address by timone davis, coordinator of ReCiL young adult ministry in Chicago, and continued with facilitated dialogue led by Nora Bradbury-Haehl from St. Paul Catholic Church in Rochester, New York, and Charlotte McCorquodale from Ministry Training Source. NCYAMA Executive Director Paul Jarzembowski emceed the Forum and Eileen Daily from Loyola University Chicago led the participants in prayer.

The Forum gathered together over 100 young adult ministry leaders from around the United States and Canada and even more participated in the young adult ministry track and workshops during the National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry (NCCYM), which immediately followed the Forum in New Orleans.

If you missed the 2010 Forum but would like to find out more about the topics addressed, please connect with Paul Jarzembowski at the NCYAMA Midwest Office at 815-834-4047 or email him at paul@ncyama.org. And be sure to save the date for the next Forum in 2012...
